@steenbergh That's because :00 is a 3-byte string that appears 3 times. 3 × 3 = 9, making a replacement in your case costs 3+1+3=7 since it uses a 1-byte alias, and you use it 3 times, so 7+3=10. 9 < 10, so I won't replace it.
