(this is true in the example, but it's a bad example because the first character of the second line was a space). You could reposition the s to be the s in puts.

Sep 8, 2015 at 20:18 comment added PhiNotPi I'm not sure if this is how multi-line diagonal programs fit. In the question's example, there is space between the two lines of the diagonal program (like a checkerboard).
