If you rename out to o you can save another 2n characters (with n a reasonably sized integer).

No; I see an enormous amount of useless whitespace in that version. For example, spaces after semicolons, spaces around operators, spaces after [] , spaces around parentheses, etc.

I see tons of unnecessary whitespace (especially after semicolons and around operators and brackets and parens) and long variable names (like args ).
