@UnrelatedString Thanks, that does work. In what way did it not work for you on repl.it? Just click Run (at which point you should see a blank screen with a cursor on the top right), then paste the same text into it as I put in the TIO link's Input box, press Enter, then press Ctrl+D. It then prints 1/2-1/2 for me. And pasting the challenge's example in the same way does print the result ?.
