@admalledd For crying out loud, I always forget those quotes. Seriously, I think every single time I've used Get-Date with -f , someone has reminded me that you don't need the quotes. And good call with removing the space, too, since the parser treats the ] as the end of a token. Thanks!

Should be able to remove the space between $args[0] and -f , as well as remove the single quotes around the format str: date $args[0]-f HHmm . At least this works on my powershell...
