I started programming when I was 10 years old on an old TRS-80. It came with a book on basic. While all my other friends were playing Nintendos, I was designing and playing my own text adventure games. I enjoyed learning Basic, Pascal, and then Java throughout high school and into college.

Fast-forward 25 years later, I am currently a full stack engineer at a great company in Los Angeles. I've been the sole developer on projects with code bases that include Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, etc. I am also one of the core maintainers and contributors of TE's Framework Benchmarks: https://github.com/TechEmpower/FrameworkBenchmarks
