Copper
Chemical element with symbol Cu and atomic number 29. A transition metal, copper is found in Group 11 and Period 4 of the periodic table. With an atomic weight of 63.546 and an electron configuration of [Ar] 3d10 4s1, copper finds its primary usage in wire and electronics, but has been used throughout the ages in tools and alloys.
