Jan 23, 2020 at 20:44 comment added Daniel Kamil Kozar @Pavitra : yes, this is commonly known as the "pre-ANSI" or "K&R" C variant. A variable without a type declared explicitly is an int. This has since been deprecated and all variables and functions are required to be declared with a type.
