Starting from this, you derive a non PEP8 but valid Python 3 code with 69 bytes, by int(input()) instead of input() and the usual print(' '*j+'* '*(2*n+~j)) replacing print' '*j+'* '*(2*n+~j) - cool code b.t.w. ;-)
